Men of Integrity

Nothing better than to see a friend buried in scripture.

Men's Campout was heldon October 6th and 7th. Had a blast. We had a potato gun and lots of food. Great opportunity to share scripture with my brothers and take a huge fresh breathe.

It really is amazing how quickly a few hours of fellowship over the weekend can take your Sunday worship to a new level. I really enjoyed the talks, the testimonies and the shared vision guys. This past Friday/Saturday was an emotional high to be sure...a mountaintop experience if you will. Some people knock mountain top experiences but say what they may...everything tends to be clearer at the top. If you have ever been on top of a mountain you know that you can see for miles in every direction. The challenge is to keep that vision, that clarity, as you walk down the mountain and back into the wilderness. How do we do that? Paul gives some good advice in Romans.

Romans 14:14-But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

PUT ON...Jesus Christ

PUT OFF....the flesh
